The Wichita Region PCA has secured the track at Hallett, Oklahoma for the full day Friday, July 14, 2000. They run a great event and will have plenty of instructors on hand to ensure you get the most out of your track time.

This will be a first come, first served event with a maximum of 60 cars, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment. For those not familiar with Hallett Raceway, there is an article in the August 1999 Panorama about Club Racing there.

For those driving from the South and East, you may prefer to go directly to Hallett for the track event, then caravan Friday afternoon to the Hyatt Wichita for check-in and the Reception. Others or those already in Wichita may prefer to get a room closer to the track as it is a two hour drive from Wichita.

A small block of rooms has been held at The Victorian Inn in nearby Cleveland, OK. Contact us for reservations there should you desire, rates are between $40 and $50 for Thursday, July 13.

There will be more information about the track event, requirements, timing, number of runs to expect, a sign-up sheet from WRPCA, and tips on what to bring, etc. If his schedule allows, look for Kim Crumb to show up and take a lucky 928er or two for a ride!

We are looking for at least four run sessions. Track opens at 7am, briefing at 8am, first run group at 9am. Finish runs at about 4pm and depart for the Hyatt in Wichita for the Owners Club reception from 7pm. to 10pm.
