Tips and Hints
You
will get a better rate in the destination country than in the U.S. or at the
airport.
The
hotels in both cities have good exchange rates at their front desks.
As always, you can bring traveler’s checks.
Using
a credit card will give you a good exchange rate and it is accepted at most
restaurants and the finer shops in Singapore.
It is also accepted at all the shops on our Wat and Shop tour day.
However, you will need Baht cash
in the Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai. Here
is the good news; you can use your ATM card if it is on the PLUS networks.
If you go crazy at the Night Bazaar, as we did, a cash machine will issue
Baht right from your home checking account.
Buying more luggage and extra gifts is simply up to you.
