Sydney and Hayman Island

Day 1 - Thursday, March 1, 2001- Depart Minneapolis/St. Paul at 5:00pm.

Day 2 - Friday, March 2, 2001 - Cross the International Date Line.

Day 3- Saturday, March 3, 2001 - Arrive in Sydney at approximately 6:05am. Your guests will be greeted at the airport and each couple will receive a Welcome Kit that includes maps and information. The luggage van will transfer the luggage to the hotel where it will be stored until check-in this afternoon. The group will be transferred to the wharf via motorcoach with an ID Tour guide. The group will board the Captain Cook III. The group will enjoy brunch with Australian beer, wine, soft drinks and champagne. The four hour cruise around Sydney Harbour will finish at the Sydney Opera House, guests will take a leisurely walk (10 to 15 minutes) to the Regent Hotel where they will check in. This evening the group will gather for a one-hour Welcome Cocktail party with hors d’oeuvres at the Argyle Tavern.

Day 4 - Sunday, March 4, 2001 - Orientation breakfast this morning. The hospitality desk will be open from7am to 9am and 2pm to 7pm to assist with inquiries, optional activities and reservations. Enjoy a full day of leisure for optional activities to Blue Mountain.

Day 5 - Monday, March 5, 2001 - Breakfast at the resort this morning. Day at leisure for an optional tour to explore Hunter Valley for the day..

Day 6 - Tuesday, March 6, 2001 - Breakfast this morning at the resort. Today the group will meet for a visit to Koala Park then transfer for the Sailing Regatta on Sydney Harbour with experienced skippers, transfers, team caps and prizes for the winning team. Picnic lunch with champagne, wine, beer and soft drinks will be served on board. Evening and dinner at leisure.

Day 7 - Wednesday, March 7, 2001 - Breakfast at the hotel this morning. Transfer to the airport for flight to Hamilton Island (approximately 2.5 hour flight). Board the launch over to Hayman Island (approximately 50 minutes away). Check into the Hayman Island Resort and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure for exploration. Tonight the group will gather on the West Wing Lanai for cocktails with trio to entertain.

Day 8 - Thursday, March 8, 2001 - Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for relaxing on the beach or an optional tour on a boat to explore the fascinating reefs of Australia. KSTP’s exclusive hospitality desk will be available to assist guests with tours and reservations.

Day 9, Friday, March 9, 2001 - Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for speedboats, Sea Plane Reef adventure or game fishing. KSTP’s exclusive hospitality desk will be available to assist guests with tours and reservations

Day 10 - Saturday, March 10, 2001 - Breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. This evening the group will enjoy at Gala dinner in The Formal Gardens with an open bar and a trio for entertainment.

Day 11 - Sunday, March 11, 2001 - Breakfast at the hotel. Group will transfer to the airport for flights home. The flight will depart Hamilton Island at 12:30pm and the flight will arrive in Minneapolis/St. Paul at approximately 8:52pm the evening of March 11th.
